About Troop 726

The origins of TROOP 726 was started in 1993 with six scouts and three leaders. Our charter organization is St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. We are located in west Wichita, KS. The first scoutmaster Dan Graf, was aided by Dave McCosh and Dave Rose. Because we were a new parish, we did not own a building and therefore held mass at The Holy Family Center. For the first two years, scout meetings were held in the scoutmasters garage. The American flag and troop flag were donated by the church men's club. Tents and cooking gear were donated by The Holy Family Center. From these humble beginnings, the troop has grown to over fifty scouts and over a dozen leaders. To date the troop has had nineteen scouts achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, and currently several scouts are close to achieving their goal. We have an excellent program with activities covering all aspects of scouting. Our goals are to spread the scouting experience, grow our young scouts into effective leaders and good citizens of their community

Today we are a proud Troop with great kids who are growing into the future of our community. Current projects include working with the Kansas Humane Society and home remodeling projects for those less fortunate then us. We have a strong base of adult leadership and a great pack to continue the tradition of great scouting. With the help of our charter Organization, St Elizabeth Anne Seton Parish, we plan on continuing the great scouting tradition for generation to come.
