Troop 726

Troop 726 is located in Wichita Kansas. Our Charter Organization is St.Elizabeth Anne Seton Parish. We our in the Quivira Council under the White Buffalo District.

Spring Camporee

The Quivira spring camporee will be April 17th-19th at Lake Afton. For more info click here.

Geocache cooridanates and information will be posted here for those of you with GPS unit. The Wichita Geocache Society has been invited to help teach and lead non cachers on this fun and exciting activity. We will post cache locations for you to download once all stashes have been hidden. Summer Camp News

Camp Emarald is of the coast of Los Angeles on Catalina Island. This is both a merit badge camp for the younger scouts as well as offering High Adventure programs for the older boys.  Unlike any camp we have been to before it offers various ocean programs and ocean based merit badges as well as ocean scuba diving and kayaking for the older boys.  An added benefit is that getting to the camp by train is the cheapest method of transportation.  This will give most boys an opportunity to experience a train ride for the first time.  The cost per scout for both camp and transportation will be around $750.  It is our intention to have additional fundraisers this year to offset the cost of the trip, but of course we cannot predict how much money those will raise. Chris Dobbins outside of Colorado Springs , Colorado .  The troop attended this summer camp last year and came back with positive reviews.  The cost of this camp will be around $350.  We are offering this second camp for those families that do not wish to deal with the expense of Camp Emerald .  We will travel to this camp by a vehicle caravan. more info here........ For those parents who have Webelos scouts that will be in the Troop next year, please feel free to talk to any of the adult leaders, if you have any questions.  For first year scouts, the Troop requires an adult to attend with the boy on an out-of-state campout.
